Observed (left of now): rain from 90 NEA stations every 5 minutes, temperature, humidity and wind from about 18 stations, hourly PSI and PM2.5 by region, and NEA's 2-hour sky conditions.

Projected (right of now, hatched): NEA's 2-hour and 24-hour forecasts. Rain is drawn from the forecast conditions, temperature follows the forecast range, and PSI stays at the latest reading because NEA doesn't forecast it.

Clouds (Real): low, mid and high cloud cover from Open-Meteo (hourly, past and forecast). Cloud amounts are model estimates; showers and storm clouds follow NEA's areas and rain stations. Simple mode is decorative and doesn't reflect actual cloud cover (storms, rain and lightning still do).

Lightning: near now, storms flash as often as NEA's lightning sensors detect strikes around them; at other times lightning follows the thundery forecasts. The flashes themselves are an illustration.
