A live 3D map of Singapore

Scroll down to Singapore.

miniSG is a tiny, living model of the island. This week's gigs, pop-ups, new cafés and markets are pinned where they happen, under the real sky, so finding something to do feels like playing.

How it works

From scrolling to going, in three taps.

Everything sits on one map, so you can see what's on, where it is and what the weather's doing there, all at once.

  1. 01

    Spin the island

Drag to turn it, pinch or scroll to zoom. Clouds, rain and haze move in from NEA's live readings.

  2. 02

    Tap a pin

The map flies in and a dotted line drops to the exact spot. The card says what it is, when it's on and why it's worth going.

  3. 03

    Go

One tap for directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps, with the nearest MRT already on the map beside it.

What's on the map

Everything you'd check before heading out.

Six layers, each from a source you can trust, all switchable from the buttons on the right of the map.

  • Events and pop-ups

Gigs, exhibitions, markets and pop-ups, picked by hand each week. A red ring means it's on right now.

    Official pages, checked weekly
  • New cafés and food

Places that opened recently, with their hours, so you can tell at a glance whether they're open now.

Hours from the place's own page
  • Live weather and haze

Rain, clouds, lightning and haze by region. Scrub back through the last 24 hours, or ahead into the forecast.

  • Traffic

Jams, accidents and roadworks where they are, plus what the expressway signs are saying.

    LTA DataMall
  • MRT and buildings

Every line and station, and HDB blocks at their real heights with their block numbers.

  • Walk around

Drag your bean onto any street and stomp about at eye level, then hop back up to the whole island.

What the pins mean.

  • Exhibition

A listing. The colour tells you the kind: pink for gigs, blue for exhibitions, orange for pop-ups.

  • Live set

On right now. The red ring stays while it's happening.

  • Café+2

A place, or a few. "+2" means more listings share the spot; tap to see them all.

  • PIE

A traffic alert. An accident, roadworks or a jam on that road.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How are the listings picked?

By hand, every week, from what's new and talked about around Singapore. Every date, time and price is checked on the organiser's, venue's or official ticketing page, and each card says when. Things change, so check the official page before you go.

Is the weather real?

Yes. Rain, haze and forecasts come from NEA through data.gov.sg and can be a few minutes old. The shapes of the clouds, the lightning flashes and the little cars are illustrations.

Does it use my location?

Only if you tap the location button, and your browser asks first. It stays on your device, just to put your bean on the map.

Does it cost anything?

No. It's free, and you don't need an account.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen, like an app.
